JULY FLEW BY

Rob, Ashlee and I visiting Niagara Falls, Ontario.
As I sit here typing this, it's hard to believe this is the last day of July. The month seemed to fly by, as the summer in general seems to be. July was a very busy, and fun month for us, but I know we are both looking forward to a slower paced August, where the weekends will be spent enjoying our backyard.

The highlight of the month was definitely my niece, Ashlee's visit. I had been dreaming of her coming to Toronto to visit since she was born in 2000, and this year that dream came true. She arrived from Alberta on Canada day to spend a week with us, and what a busy, fun-filled week it was!  We went to Niagara Falls, The Butterfly Conservatory, Mountsberg Conservation Area, The CN Tower, Ripley's Aquarium, saw the play, "Matilda", spent a day at the beach, and of course did some girlie things together, like pedicures and shopping.

Having fun at Ripley's Aquarium.
Rob and I had tickets to attend our second WWE Live event of the year the weekend after Ashlee returned home. We enjoy WWE at home every week, but it's fun to see your favorite characters live.

Natalya is always a favorite in Canada, being Bret Hart's niece, and the
only female to be trained in the famous "Dungeon".
The next weekend I was off once again to see Def Leppard, with my concert buddy, Brian! Since the concert was a on a Saturday for a change, we gathered in the backyard with Rob for a BBQ and some drinks before taking in another excellent concert from Def Leppard.
A shot of "Jack" before we leave for the concert.
Tesla opened for Def Lep once again, Jeff still sounds great!
Great views from the 3rd row!
It's a summer tradition now, seeing Def Leppard.
I'm ending off the month today by attending my first Blue Jays game in over a decade with a girlfriend, and then BBQ'ing tonight with Rob and hanging in the backyard.

I hope you're all having a great summer too!
