SPRING FIRSTS

Male Yellow Warbler
Today was our first day of vacation and it started bright and early with a day trip to "Long Point Bird Observatory" for some bird-watching with friends. We had lots of first of the season spring sightings, and I would like to thank my personal photographer, Rob, for taking some sweet shots.  Click on the photos to enlarge them and get a better look at all the pretty birds.

Male Blue-headed Vireo

Male Yellow-rumped Warbler AKA "Butter Butts!"

Brown Thrasher

Ruby-throated Hummingbird

Other first sightings of the season included; Kingbird, Black-throated Blue Warbler, Magnolia Warbler, Yellow-bellied Flycatcher, Eastern Towhee and Black and White Warbler. It was a great day!
