I made a wish! |
On Sunday, June 10th, I celebrated my 49th birthday. And in typical "Angie" fashion, I started celebrating before the actual day.
The Friday before I was treated to a great sushi lunch with co-workers at one of our favorite lunch spots. Later that evening I got together with some girlfriends I don't see nearly often enough for some food, wine and cake.
On Saturday I went to my cousin Andi's place, which has become tradition these last few years for a co-celebration, as her birthday is on the 7th of June. She cooks a delicious lobster feast and I take care of the cake. This year we were joined by her brother, Paul, and his lovely wife, Francois, who is very good and keeping the champagne and/or wine glass filled.
Sunday, Rob and I spent my actual birthday alone. We visited
Aberfoyle Antique Market in the morning and then had a delectable lunch at the
Aberfoyle Mill restaurant. This was our second time there for lunch, and it's a must if in the area. After lunch we took a walk around the grounds, and then made our way back to Toronto for a quiet evening at home.
